The Crossing short animated film

In recent decades, tens of thousands of Tibetans have made the perilous journey across the Himalayas, the world’s highest mountain range, into India. They are fleeing the persecution they face in their homeland, which has been occupied by China for more than 60 years.

‘The Crossing’ follows one such Tibetan refugee as they attempt this dangerous trek, and explores what drove them to make this life-altering decision.

My role included many different areas, such as writing, art direction, direction and also acting as the only animator. It was an intense experience but one that was hugely rewarding. The work Free Tibet do is incredible.
