Hi, my name is Chris Shaw and I'm an award-winning Freelance Motion Designer, Animator & Art Director.

I specialise in creating 2D and 3D motion graphics and animated content for advertising, broadcast, and digital platforms. With over 15 years’ experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of global brands, agencies, and studios — both in London and remotely — across design, marketing, and production environments.

Alongside hands-on motion design and animation, I often lead projects from concept through to delivery. That means helping to shape the creative direction, managing teams and freelancers, and working to timelines and budgets to make sure everything runs smoothly and delivers on brief.

My approach is always collaborative. Nobody understands your business like you do, so including you at every stage of the process is key to creating work that’s not just visually engaging, but aligned with your goals and audience.
